Matilda: The Musical

Matilda is a musical about an extraordinary girl.  She is the daughter of abusive parents and finds refuge reading.  Things are no different at Matilda's school.  Her headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, is cruel and tyrannical.  Matilda learns through the help of her teacher, Miss Honey, how to be brave and stand up to the adults in her world.  The lessons she learns are heard throughout some of the songs -- that even though life can be hard, “nobody but me is gonna change my story” so “sometimes you have to be a little bit naughty.”
